Bose QC45 & UFlyMike vs Crystal Mic Pro Lightning
WEBOct 20, 2022 · Hello! New student pilot here and I have pair of BOSE QC45 headphones I would like use with a Mic setup for flying until I get my hands on a pair of A20's. I searched around the forums and I didn't run across anything that seemed up to date. I am looking between these two addon's and am curious of any feedback if one is better than the other.

If mono, there will only be two wires. If this is on piper with the plastic overlay over the panel, make sure that your earphone plug fits flush with the jack.

Many years ago in Canada, I flew with a guy who had glasses specially made in which the 'front part' (the part with the optics) was connected to the 'ear part' via a pair of what looked like nylon fishing strings. Just imagine taking a pair of glasses and cut off the arms between the 'front part' and the 'ear part'.

WEBApr 22, 2017 · 1- comfort - wonderful! Super light weight and extremely light clamp. Blows away the $1,000 Bose and lightspeed models in this category. 2- ANR - excellent. Crystal clear. If anyone complains that it blocks out less sound that the high dollar sets- refer back to #1... there is a *slight* tradeoff for less compression around ears.

The one with the narrow hosel and no windscreen retaining ring is the new mic and boom. For those of you who don't know, Bose has always had difficulties with mic clarity and noise cancellation.
