I used the AMD hardware detector to determine and install the appropriate driver. System Specs: MSI TRX40 Creator motherboard.

WEBSep 2, 2020 · I have an MSI Creator TRX40 (BIOS/UEFI fully up-to-date as of today), an AMD Threadripper 3970X, 128GB DDR4 3600 RAM. When I leave the system idle, it will randomly crash and reboot into the BIOS. At that point, the 1st NVMe drive shows as not detected, but upon a power cycle it works without issue and boots back into Windows.

WEBDec 30, 2020 · This is a relatively new build (from June) using the MSI Creator TRX40 Mobo paired with a Threadripper 3970X and 128GB of RAM. I have 3 NVMe drives, a SSD, a VEGA64 card (I know, it's old) and a HDD. And a 1200W PSU. The system runs incredibly smooth and it's very stable (I did a lot of research on the RAM).
