Fantastic walk up to the top of the rock. The view of Sigiriya Lion Rock is amazing but the big flat rock top is such a cool place to hang out for a time. Strenuous but very achievable!Full review by ginomelino

Hey there, can anyone in guiding us to visit pidurangala rock by bus. Where should we get down, which bus to take from dambulla and stuff like that. Thank you so much!

Take a bus to Dambulla then probably easiest to Uber or hire a private driver to take you to Sigiriya. There may be some private and public buses but it's not far so I'd recommend going by car.
I'm going to Sri Lanka after a long time and stay just three weeks. Watching photos made me really sick to climb Pidurangala rock but doubtful because of my two-year-old toddler. what are the suggestions? Is it too much for the baby?

I didn't do it at sunset but it would totally be possible, taking into account the good advice you just received. It's a climb not to be missed whether you do it at sunset or simply during the day. A bit challenging in the later part but doable (I did it and I'm 66 and definitely not an athlete).
