Devara: Part 1, the Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor-starrer epic action saga, saw a growth in its worldwide box office collections on its first Wednesday. The growth in its box office collections can be attributed to the Gandhi Jayanti 2024 holiday.

Jr NTRs latest action drama Devara achieved the break-even target worldwide within the first six days after its theatrical release in five languages. The movie stars Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in their Tollywood debut.

Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan-starrer released in theatres last Friday. It showed a dip in numbers in the weekdays.

The film, directed by Koratala Siva and co-starring Janhvi Kapoor, crossed the Rs 300 crore gross milestone globally after just six days. Domestically, the film raked in Rs 207.85 crore nett, marking a successful first week at the box office.

The action movie’s Monday fall came after the Telugu film broke all records nationally and registered strong responses worldwide. With massive response on the weekend, the movie earned the title of the biggest opener of Indian cinema.

The makers of Devara, the film which reunites actor Jr NTR with director Koratala Siva, have now released the film’s official week 1 box office collection. Also starring Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, the film’s antagonist role is played by Saif Ali Khan.

Jr NTR's RRR follow-up has comfortably crossed the Rs 200 cr all-India nett mark within a week of its release.

Part 1' is seeing a boost in box office collections. The film's earnings picked up on Tuesday collecting an estimated Rs 13.5 crore nett according to early estimates, benefiting from the Gandhi Jayanti holiday.
