The Washoe County commission voted 3-1 on Friday to certify the general election results after two and a half hours of public comment and lengthy commissioner discussion. Commissioner Mike Clark recused himself and left before the vote was taken.

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) -On a vote of three to one, results from the 2024 General Election were canvassed by Washoe County Commissioners. But it didn’t come immediately. The public hearing prior to the vote took up more than two hours. Some attending the meeting encouraged the commissioners to approve the final results.

Clark County commissioners unanimously voted Friday to certify the results of the 2024 general election. The panel heard from about four dozen people before the vote, some who claimed their votes were not counted and others who thanked the county and registrar for their work.

The Clark County Commission unanimously approved the results, while Washoe County Commissioner Jeanne Herman, a Republican, was the only vote against certification amid complaints from residents alleging widespread fraud.
