A Colorado Springs family disturbance involving a firearm led to a fatal police shooting; the suspect died after not complying with officers' commands.

The armed suspect shot and killed by Colorado Springs police Saturday while responding to a family disturbance in a central Colorado Springs neighborhood has been identified, the Sheriff's Office announced.

The suspect who was shot by Colorado Springs police over the weekend has been identified as 45-year-old Derrick Wardle.
