In this week's look at the best of the fantasy baseball waiver wire, John Laghezza says now is the time to add Cubs prospect Cade Horton.

Needed because of Shota Imanaga’s hamstring injury, Horton is being called up to make his first major league start Saturday against the Mets. The Cubs’ first-round pick in 2022, he’ll debut after going 2-1 with a 33/13 K/BB in 29 innings over six starts for Triple-A Iowa.

Mayo was crushing Triple-A pitchers to start the season, racking up six homers with a 131 wRC+ in 28 games. He’s just 1-12 through his first three games at the MLB level so far this season, but there’s enough upside to justify an add in deeper leagues.
