Holger Rune produced his best performance of the season at the BNP Paribas Open, where he overcame Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-4, 6-4 in the fourth round to snap the Greek star's seven-match winning streak.

Holger Rune secured an important victory over Stefano Tsitsipas, 6-4, 6-2, reaching the quarterfinals of Indian Wells for the second consecutive year. The Dane showed his ‘dominance’ over the Greek, increasing his head-to-head record to a commanding 4-0.

Defending champion Iga Swiatek was home and dry at rainy Indian Wells on Tuesday, powering into the quarter-finals with a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Karolina Muchova.
