The Herald-Leader reported that House entered the church and demanded to see the mother of his three children. But he was told by one of Gumm’s other daughters, Star Rutherford, that she wasn’t there. Rutherford told the Herald-Leader that House then said: “Well, someone is gonna have to die then.”

Beverly Gumm, 72, and Christina Combs, 32, were both pronounced dead at the scene, while a Kentucky State Police trooper was shot after he pulled House over close to Terminal Drive near Blue Grass Airport, CBS News reports. Lexington Police Department have confirmed the unidentified officer sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
