A man is dead following a stabbing in the east Las Vegas valley on Tuesday, according to police. It happened shortly after 11:30 a.m. in the 6800 block of east Lake Mead Boulevard near Hollywood Boulevard.

A man was critically injured after being struck by a pickup truck on South Valley View Boulevard, and the driver fled the scene.
