No. 1 overall pick Zaccharie Risacher scored 33 points and had seven rebounds and the Atlanta Hawks rallied late to beat the New York Knicks 121-116 on Wednesday night.

Risacher hadn't scored more than 17 points in a game before facing New York. He nearly doubled his previous career-high. It was the kind of game Hawks fans have been waiting for after Atlanta was awarded the No. 1 pick in a weak draft.

With most of that tally built through a 6-of-10 effort from three-point range, Risacher became the fifth rookie sink at least six from deep against the Knicks. Lauri Markkanen holds the record with eight while Mike Miller, Landry Shamet, and Coby White have likewise pulled that off.
