Omkar Salvi has been appointed Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) bowling coach ahead of IPL 2025. Salvi, the 46-year-old former Railways cricketer, has had a hugely successful career as a coach in the Indian domestic circuit.

Omkar Salvi, the newly-appointed bowling coach of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru, has said that his immediate task will be refining the skills of the bowlers so that they can deliver

Royal Challengers Bengaluru have appointed Omkar Salvi as their bowling coach for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League. Salvi is currently the coach of the Mumbai cricket team and will be joining RCB after the completion of his duties in the ongoing season.

Omkar, who has won the Ranji Trophy, Irani Trophy and the IPL in the last eight months will join RCB in time for IPL 2025 after completion of his Indian domestic season duties.

RCB had appointed Dinesh Karthik as batting coach earlier this year and Omkar Salvi has worked with him for KKR in the past too.

Omkar Salvi recently worked with Mumbai cricket team. He was Mumbai head coach in their Ranji Trophy title-winning campaign and Irani Trophy.
