While the Pussycat Dolls star did not publicly endorse a presidential candidate, a social media comment has sparked speculation she backs Donald Trump.

"I made a mistake of not realizing that they could be easily interpreted as being politically related and I apologize to anyone who understandably reached that conclusion," she wrote on Instagram.

Scherzinger responded to a photo Brand posted on Instagram that saw him celebrating Trump’s victory by holding up a red cap emblazoned with the words,
