DALLAS — The owner of Cookies 'N Smoothies was shot and killed inside The Shops at RedBird Tuesday afternoon, according to the owner of the sprawling mall space. Officers responded to the 3600 block of West Camp Wisdom Road at about 4 p.m. to reports of a shooting. Dallas Fire-Rescue also responded, but the victim died at the scene, police said.
