Manchester United have taken a big step toward solving their striker problem. The club has reportedly reached a full agreement on personal terms with Benjamin Sesko. The RB Leipzig forward is apparently set to sign a deal running until June 2030.

Manchester United are closing in on a deal to sign Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig. The Old Trafford side have been battling Newcastle United for the 22-year-old striker, with both teams submitting offers. Newcastle initially tabled €75million plus €5m in add-ons, before raising that on Monday to at least €80m.

Rene Meulensteen has concerns over Benjamin Sesko's proposed Manchester United transfer. The Manchester Evening News reported on Wednesday that United are confident Sesko prefers a move to Old Trafford, following interest from Premier League competitors Newcastle.
