These three questions will shape the Texas baseball offseason after the Longhorns were ousted from the NCAA Tournament on Sunday.

The Longhorns have dominated when hosting, owning an 87-22 mark in regional games held in Austin. Texas has strong postseason history, making 38 appearances in the College World Series. To add to their CWS list, the Longhorns will have to advance past their regionals and super regionals.

Both Kansas State and Texas played with limited pitching staffs in an NCAA Tournament elimination game on Sunday at Disch-Falk Field in Austin. But only the Longhorns took advantage at that plate. Texas won a one-sided slugfest 15-8 to stay alive in the Austin Regional and send K-State home for the season.
