Significant” severe storms are expected to roll through much of North Texas — including Dallas-Fort Worth — late Sunday night, bringing with them the potential for large hail, damaging winds and spin-up tornadoes.

In addition to the warmth, severe storms will be possible overnight  Saturday night, Sunday night and Monday afternoon and evening. It was a hot and humid Saturday. Highs reached into the low 90s with a heat index hitting 100°.
