For the fourth time in the last five seasons, Tennessee baseball will participate in the SEC Tournament Semifinals.

Tennessee baseball vs Vanderbilt will play at 11 a.m. ET May 24 in the SEC Tournament semifinals at Hoover Met due to inclement weather expected.

Saturday’s game will likely hold more significance for Tennessee than Vanderbilt, as the Commodores appear reasonably assured of earning a top-eight national seed for the NCAA Tournament, which would ensure home-field advantage in Regional and Super Regional competition.

Both Vanderbilt and Tennessee were well represented. Columbia Academy junior Gunner Skelton, a Commodore commitment, won the Division II-A award and Lipscomb Academy’s Jack Dugan, a Tennessee signee, was a finalist in DII-AA.
