After not reaching an agreement with the Toronto Blue Jays, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. enters 2025 as the most talked about future free agent in baseball.

It’s been a long offseason for Blue Jays fans, and just when it looked like there might be some legitimate room for optimism heading into the 2025 campaign, the self-imposed deadline for the extension of Vladimir Guerrero Jr’s contract has now come and gone.

It looks as though Vladimir Guerrero Jr. will be getting away from the Blue Jays after the two sides failed to agree on a contract extension.
