The Brewers closed out their six-game West Coast road trip with a 5-1 record after pounding the Mariners for 17 hits on Wednesday afternoon.

It started in the second inning when Isaac Collins singled, and Tyler Black and Blake Perkins both doubled. Perkins’ hit went deep to the warning track to open the scoring, bringing in two runs. The Brewers were hyper-aggressive as those three hits came on a total of six pitches.

The Mariners defeated the Brewers 1-0 on Tuesday night, snapping Milwaukee’s 11-game winning streak. Raleigh homered in the sixth inning for the game’s lone run.

Quinn Priester pitched seven solid innings and the Milwaukee Brewers amassed 17 hits to defeat the host Seattle Mariners 10-2 Wednesday afternoon in the finale of a three-game series.

The only hit the 24-year-old Priester allowed was a harmless, one-out single by Michael Toglia to right field in the fifth inning. Priester (6-2, 3.35 ERA) walked only two. He racked up 20 whiffs on 44 Rockies swings. Priester became the first Brewers pitcher to post double-digit strikeouts in a game this season.
