An FBI raid on Virginia-based Carahsoft as partner software firm SAP comes under investigation for potential price fixing.

The FBI and the Defense Criminal Investigative Service served a search warrant at Carahsoft Technology Corp.’s headquarters in Reston, Virginia this morning. Multiple sources confirmed law enforcement agencies closed down the building and removed computers and boxes of documents.

German software developer SAP SE, product reseller Carahsoft Technology Corp. and other companies are being probed by US officials for potentially conspiring to overcharge government agencies for years.

In 2015, Carahsoft and VMware agreed to pay $75.5 million to settle a False Claims Act case with the U.S. government that also alleged overcharging the government. The companies didn’t admit to wrongdoing as part of the settlement.
