Glenview Capital Management — a hedge fund that has been subject of certain media reports that it was pushing CVS Health management to break up the healthcare giant — denies it is “pushing for a break-up.”

Glenview is holding constructive conversations with CVS leadership regarding possible adjustments to its governance, culture, efficiency, sustainability and growth.

The hedge fund has taken a large position in the healthcare company, which has seen its shares fall 24% this year to date.
