71 Freeway in Chino Hills back open as crews gain control of the Euclid brush fire
A vegetation fire jumped the 71 Freeway in Chino Hills — prompting its closure on both sides at Euclid Avenue. As of 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, the Euclid fire had burned 100 to 150 acres, according to Cal Fire San Bernardino, in the Prado Dam area. It was first seen near Euclid Avenue.
