Kerr County, Texas and national search and rescue operations will continue Monday around the Guadalupe River, where families wait for news of their loved ones.

Vehicles, campers and homes were swept away along the Guadalupe River in Kerr County, Texas, as storms caused a flash flood emergency in the area. A flash flood emergency was also declared in San Angelo further north of Texas Hill Country. Multiple deaths have been reported.

With more rain on the way, the risk of life-threatening flooding was still high in central Texas on Monday even as crews search urgently for the missing following a holiday weekend deluge that killed at least 82 people,

That includes 40 adults and 28 children. Ten girls from Camp Mystic are still missing, along with one counselor.
