A dive team has recovered a body believed to be that of a missing kayaker who flipped into Hell Hole Reservoir in Northern California, officials said on Saturday.

Divers in Placer County recovered the body of a man who disappeared underwater in a reservoir, the sheriff’s office said Saturday. Authorities said two men were fishing from kayaks in Hell Hole Reservoir Thursday around 7:45 p.m. when one man fell in. The second entered the water to help but went beneath the surface.
