Support for Israel’s military action in Gaza has declined substantially among U.S. adults, with only about one-third approving, according to a new Gallup poll — a drop from the beginning of the war with Hamas,

The military statement said airdrops would be conducted in coordination with international aid organizations. It was not clear where they would be carried out.

Israel has allowed more aid to flow into Gaza, under intense pressure over Palestinians starving to death, but the U.N. says much more is still needed.
