Dave Navarro is accusing Perry Farrell of assault and battery in a lawsuit filed on Wednesday, July 16 in Los Angeles Superior Court. The musician filed the civil complaint against his fellow Jane's Addiction band member following the September 2024 onstage incident.

According to Deadline, Navarro, 58, the band’s guitarist, bassist Eric Avery and drummer Stephen Perkins sued Farrell for $10 million Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court. The lawsuit accuses Farrell of a “brutal and unprovoked” onstage attack on Navarro.

The incident, which took place at the Leader Bank Pavilion, happened about two-thirds of the way through the band’s reunion tour of the U.S. and Canada, which was its first with the band’s full lineup: Farrell, Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins and bassist Eric Avery.
