Babar Azam on Monday surpassed Virat Kohli to rise to the second spot in the list of highest run-scorers in T20Is. Virat Kohli has 4188 runs in 117 innings while Babar Azam has 4192 runs in 119 innings.

Former Pakistan white-ball captain Babar Azam surpassed Virat Kohli in the race of the the highest run-getter in men's T20Is. Babar achieved the feat during the third T20I between Pakistan and Australia played at Horbat on Monday.

After identical scores of just three runs in the opening two games, Babar Azam bounced back on Monday to score 41 off 28 in the third T20I versus Australia

Babar Azam currently has 4192 runs as compared to Virat Kohli's 4188. Rohit Sharma still tops the list with 4231 runs.
