With the launch date for the Silent Hill 2 remake approaching, the title's download size on PS5 surfaces online, giving fans insight into the game.

The Silent Hill 2 remake is exclusive to Sony's console for one year though will also launch on PC next week thanks to Bloober Team convincing publisher Konami. Xbox players will have to wait, however, and it's perhaps unlikely to come to Nintendo Switch at all.

The Silent Hill 2 remake is console exclusive to PlayStation 5 for one year, Sony has revealed. As spotted by Eurogamer, a new trailer released on the PlayStation YouTube channel shows Bloober’s long-awaited remake won’t launch on “other formats” until October 8, 2025 at the earliest. Silent Hill 2 launches on PC and PS5 on October 8, 2024.
