A state funeral for the 39th president on Thursday will bring together all five living presidents and feature a eulogy from President Biden.

President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris and all living former presidents attended the funeral, including Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama. Both President-elect Donald Trump and former Vice President Mike Pence also attended, marking the first time the pair were in the same room in four years.

Jimmy Carter, the 39th U.S. President, is being honored with the pageantry of a state funeral in the nation’s capital. He will later be honored a second service and burial in his tiny Georgia hometown that launched a Depression-era farm boy to the world stage.

Carter is survived by four children -- John William (Jack), James Earl III (Chip), Donnel Jeffrey (Jeff) and Amy Lynn -- and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The flight will land in the D.C. area around 2 p.m.
