Two years ago, around this exact time, the Las Vegas Raiders signed linebacker Robert Spillane, who played for the Pittsburgh Steelers before playing for the Raiders. And, he was good for the Steelers.

Four-year veteran cornerback Eric Stokes signed a new contract with the Las Vegas Raiders. Stokes, a former first-round pick, spent the entirety of his career with the Green Bay Packers.

They entered the season with an uninspiring quarterback room that was led by veteran journeyman Gardner Minshew and second-year backup Aidan O’Connell. Along with the worst rushing attack, the Raiders were doomed before the season even began.
