Lawrence and the Jaguars had won back-to-back games and entered Week 12 at 8-3. They took down the Titans in Week 11 and the Texans in Week 12 for two huge divisional wins. The Bengals were starting Jake Browning, and the Jaguars had a solid chance to all but lock up another division title.

Down 40-10 in the fourth quarter and after he had taken four sacks, the Jaguars pulled quarterback Trevor Lawrence out of their Monday Night Football matchup with the Bills. Lawrence finished the game 21-of-38 passing for 178 yards with one touchdown and one interception. The Jaguars did not announce an injury to Lawrence when he exited the game.
