New York Yankees third baseman Oswaldo Cabrera is holding out hope he can get back on the field at some point in the 2025 MLB season.

Yankees infielder Oswaldo Cabrera, who had surgery to repair a fractured left ankle last month, said he was told there is a "small possibility" he'll return this season.

NEW YORK — Thumbs up for Jasson Domínguez. After sitting out for a few games with a left thumb contusion — an injury the Yankees’ young outfielder suffered on Sunday night in Los Angeles — Domínguez is clear to return to the team’s starting lineup on Thursday night.
