A Long Island man facing charges for a deadly drunk driving crash earlier this month has died in the hospital, police said Tuesday. Joseph Curto, 54, was the suspect in a July 15 wreck in Bethpage that killed 40-year-old Cindy Saborio, according to Nassau County police.

Joseph Curto, 54, of Seaford, died while hospitalized Saturday, police said. They provided no additional details. Curto had been charged with driving while intoxicated after police said his northbound 2013 Honda Pilot collided with a southbound 2008 Honda Accord just before midnight on July 15 on Seamans Neck Road.
