Brevard County was left with a trail of damage after multiple tornado warnings were issued on Wednesday ahead of Milton's landfall.

Six to eight buildings in the Banana River Square plaza sustained moderate to major roof damage, and families have potentially been displaced as a result of the possible tornado that formed from Milton's eastern outer bands, Cocoa Beach Police said.

Power lines are down and major flooding and damage have been reported in Cocoa Beach, city leaders said Wednesday evening.
