It’s been almost 10 months since the Cybertruck, arguably Tesla’s most technologically advanced vehicle, started to ship to customers and it still lacks Autopilot and Full Self Driving. The latter is a key component in Musk’s long-term vision for Tesla and is expected to be fleshed out at Tesla’s “We, Robot” event in Los Angeles on October 10.

Cybertrucks helped the company just barely beat Wall Street expectations last quarter. Thanks to yet another recall of the electric truck, we now know just how many of them are on the road.

After two straight quarters of declines, Tesla’s vehicle sales are finally on the upswing. Tesla reported producing 469,796 vehicles over the three-month period that ended in September, a 9.1 percent increase compared to the third quarter of 2023.
