Royal editor Roya Nikkah of the Sunday Times shared the story in the BBC documentary Royal Wedding: A Day to Remember. "When the guest list was drawn up [Prince William] was very bemused and had a conversation with The Queen to say, 'I don't know any of these people,'" she said (via the Express ).

On May 1, the Prince and Princess of Wales' office at Kensington Palace posted a mysterious new video to their social media accounts. "Happy May Day," Prince William and Princess Kate's team wrote below the 16-second clip with a flower emoji, referencing the first day of the month. "Coming soon…" it continued, plus a video camera icon.
