Ahead of the game, LSU honored both Reese and Van Lith by welcoming them back in front of the home crowd. Standing midcourt to greet both stars was Mulkey, who shared a hug with Reese and gifted her a bouquet of flowers. The same was done for Van Lith.

The LSU community showed their appreciation for Angel Reese and Hailey Van Lith ahead of the Sky's game against Brazil on Friday.

While Reese was the center of attention Friday night, she wasn't the only player who suited up for Mulkey's Tigers on the Sky roster. Hailey Van Lith, who played the 2023-24 season at LSU, was recently drafted by the Sky. Van Lith put together a successful season at TCU before making the leap to the WNBA.
