SAG-AFTRA has filed a labor complaint against Fortnite;s maker over AI use of James Earl Jones' voice as Darth Vader, raising concerns over performer rights.

Fortnite added the Darth Vader AI with the latest update, but this move has caused a lot of controversy and some legal trouble.

Epic Games and Llama Productions are the subject of an unfair labour practice charge from the SAG-AFTRA union.

The actors’ union that began striking against video game companies last summer has filed an unfair labor practice charge against Epic Games, the creator of Fortnite.

Epic Games’ wildly popular multiplayer shooter game “Fortnite” was available again on Apple’s app store in the US on Tuesday, capping a ban of nearly five years and marking a major win for the video company.

On top of all the problems, Fortnite is not available to all iOS users who use the search function in the App Store. For some reason, the game can be downloaded through the direct link, yet it doesn’t appear after users search for it. However, this is likely a temporary issue that will soon be fixed by Apple.

Within a matter of months, Fortnite Battle Royale eclipsed PUBG's player count and never looked back, while around this time PUBG Corporation filed a lawsuit against Epic, believing that Fortnite infringed upon the copyright of PUBG.
