A military attache to Indonesia has claimed a political directive prevented early strikes on Pakistani bases, leading to aircraft losses.

The Indian Embassy in Indonesia issued a clarification stating that the remarks made by the attache were “taken out of context” and “misrepresented”.

India and Pakistan are both on campaigns to shape the global narrative about last month’s armed conflict. But within Pakistan, no such scrambling is required, as the country rallies around its powerful military.
