Amazon has released another wave of official offers for Prime Big Deal Days, its members-only "October Prime Day" sale on Oct. 8 and 9 — and among its selection of tablet deals is a heavily discounted new Fire HD 8.

Kindle deals have been a bit lackluster as of late — that is, until this Amazon Prime Day. Right now, we're seeing some of the lowest prices on select e-readers that we've seen in months. Key word: select.

Like the OG Prime Day event, the sale is almost guaranteed to include Amazon’s own devices, such as Ring security cameras, Kindle ereaders and Amazon Echo smart speakers. Other brands get involved, too, so, expect to see discounts on everything from electric toothbrushes and home appliances to TVs and other tech.
