Facing what is expected to be an offseason of significant change, the Boston Celtics took the first step in reshaping their championship roster with a reported trade that will send veteran point guard Jrue Holiday to the Portland Trail Blazers for young scoring guard Anfernee Simons and a pair of second-round picks.

The Boston Celtics have started their wheeling and dealing this offseason. ESPN's Shams Charania was the first to report that the Celtics have traded Jrue Holiday to the Portland Trail Blazers for Anfernee Simons.

Not only did Brad Stevens start to trim some payroll with the Jrue Holiday trade, but he added an extremely gifted offensive player to the Celtics in Anfernee Simons.
