Since its shadow drop last week, Bethesda’s revamped classic RPG The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered has been raking in the numbers in terms of player counts, surpassing the four million player mark within a week across PC, consoles and Game Pass.

In 2006, developer Bethesda Game Studios and publisher Bethesda Softworks released The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion on Xbox and PC. As the name suggests, it was the fourth mainline title in The Elder Scrolls series of role-playing games.

If you're playing Oblivion Remastered via the Microsoft Store, perhaps because you got it with your PC Game Pass subscription, then you have access to a patch that other players do not. But before Steam users get jealous, this is not a patch anyone would want.
