Boston police have issued a warrant charging a Belmont man in connection with a road rage incident where a man chased a person in their car until they crashed and then was assaulted with a hatchet.

The Boston Police Department has identified the suspect wanted in a weekend aggravated assault road rage incident.Andrew Oprian, 27, of Belmont, is charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and willful malicious destruction of property.

The suspect allegedly approached a woman from behind at her home in the North End before indecently assaulting her.
