On the heels of unveiling its 5-minute charging station, China’s BYD has something else to boast about: It had a better 2024 than Tesla. BYD brought in $107 billion in revenue last year, and reported a 29% increase in sales from 2023.

Tesla's Chinese competitor BYD recorded a 73 per cent jump in fourth-quarter profit on Monday and said its annual revenue for 2024 crossed the $100 billion US mark, surpassing the U.S. automaker.
