A woman had children inside her SUV when she intentionally struck and killed a mother of three in Camden, New Jersey, and then fled the scene, according to investigators.

Carla Mahan, of Camden, was struck and killed by a car at 7th Street and Tulip Street — now, Ajee Williams is accused of intentionally mowing down the mother of three.

Carlos Mahan says the past few days have been an emotional rollercoaster after detectives first came to his home in Camden to tell him his daughter, 41-year-old Carla Mahan, died after she was run over.

At the scene, officers found 41-year-old Carla Mahan lying in a grassy lot. She was taken to Cooper University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
