Before rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders took the field for his preseason debut, NFL fans accused the Cleveland Browns of setting him up to fail. Now, they're claiming the organization is mistreating the Colorado product.

After a slow start in the first quarter, the Browns took advantage of a short field thanks to a muffed punt and scored a touchdown. Shedeur Sanders, on the first play of the second quarter, found Kaden Davis in the back of the endzone on a threaded throw through traffic for a touchdown. This is the first of many, at least we hope.

Gabriel became somewhat of a forgotten figure regarding the Browns' QB competition after Sanders played well in Cleveland's preseason opener.
