A new poll shows Americans have all but given up on seeing anyone in financier and convicted child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s orbit hauled into court, underscoring deepening public distrust of the government’s official narrative about the disgraced financier’s 2019 death.

WASHINGTON >> One of Jeffrey Epstein’s former attorneys on Sunday called on the U.S. Justice Department to release additional investigative records from its sex-trafficking investigation, and urged the government to grant Epstein’s former girlfriend immunity so that she can testify about his crimes.

Attorney General Pam Bondi had previously promised the public release of scores of records associated with federal probes into Epstein.
