The international architecture firm Foster + Partners was announced as the winner of a multi-million-dollar competition to design a national memorial to the late Queen Elizabeth II in London.

For the Queen Elizabeth II memorial, Foster + Partners designs proposal includes a new bridge, gates, gardens and figurative sculptures in St James’ Park

Foster + Partners architecture firm beat out four competitors to design the memorial, which will also feature statues of the queen and her husband Prince Philip.
