The Gonzaga men's basketball team got the job done Wednesday in a 93-80 victory over San Diego from the McCarthey Athletic Center.The Bulldogs (13-4, 4-0 WCC) weren't able to put the Toreros (4-13, 1-3 WCC) away easily after a slow start offensively allowed the visitors to hang around in the fight longer than expected.

Graham Ike is on the proverbial heater for No. 18 Gonzaga. His 27-point performance in Saturday's 96-68 West Coast Conference romp at Loyola Marymount marked the fourth time in six games that he's scored at least 20.

Gonzaga (13-4, 4-0 WCC) joined Saint Mary’s (14-3, 4-0) at the top of the conference standings. Washington State (13-3, 3-0) can make it a three-way tie for first place with a victory over Pacific on Thursday before the Cougars visit the Kennel on Saturday.
